Fed up of all the price comparison sites touting themselves as independent (when most are owned by insurance companies) I decided to put out my own comparison site, not comparing prices, but comparing insurers based on their popularity. No point in saying someone is the cheapest if no-one ever buys the policies they put out is there? Everything is covered from car insurance, home insurance, travel insurance and life insurance with special categorisations for companies that provide specialist cover or special discounts with their insurance for women, over 50s insurance or the recently popular internet only insurers. You'll find companies ranked by their policy's popularity plus information on each insurer and their offers.

It's been a bit of a challenge getting a hold of all the variants on this one and it is the only time we have tried to do so when the majority were owned by other people. The .net's (i.e. noclaimsdiscount.net and noclaimsbonus.net) were not owned so we bought them and took a shot. The .com and .co.uk versions that we are using were owned by different people but negotiations were fairly simple despite a Sedo problem - I really dislike their auction system! But noclaimbonus.co.uk and noclaimsbonus.co.uk were owned by one person though we paid almost ten times the amount for them over the "discount" counterparts ... so we thought we'd better make the most of it and set about created a different car insurance and home insurance directory, that way we could be continually testing things rather than waiting for results and analytics each time.
